Sukkur: PST/JEST candidates on the waiting list protest, demand issuance of appointment orders.
PST/JEST candidates on the waiting list in Sukkur staged a protest demanding the immediate issuance of offer letters to those who have been awaiting appointment for the past five years. The protesters stated that their issue was not included in the agenda of the special committee formed on July 10, whereas progress was made regarding the grievances of other candidates.
Candidates participating in the protest claimed that candidates from Sukkur City on the waiting list are still awaiting appointment, whereas candidates from other areas have already been posted. They stated that court rulings have been issued in their favor, yet the relevant authorities have failed to implement them.
The protesters demanded that their issue be included in the agenda of the upcoming meeting and that appointment orders be issued immediately for all waiting PST/JEST candidates, in accordance with court directives. They also alleged that candidates from Sukkur City are facing discriminatory treatment and that their grievances are not being effectively conveyed to the relevant authorities.
